Best guess? The people in charge at the Sentinel must agree with Bryan Brown and what he’s doing. Kevin “Half the Story” Leininger seems to absolutely love the guy. Otherwise they wouldn’t associate themselves with him or his little “organization.” They’re not likely to go out of their way discrediting people whose material* they run on such a regular basis. I’ve been told they certainly didn’t with plagiarist Timothy S. Goeglein, an outside source had to call that out. (Guess who was happy to write about his book, though.)

*No, Brown doesn’t have a column as he likes to claim. The News-Sentinel often runs his essays as “community voice” pieces, sort of like the paper getting an editorial written for free. Great way to cut down labor costs. It also lets him have his pal Dan “DeceptiCon” Turkette run them on his Angry White Boy website as well.
